Conference Sessions

The ICGE Conference will feature a diverse program, including Plenary Sessions, Panel Discussions, Workshops, Paper/Report/Poster Presentations, Artivism & Storytelling, and the Awards & Cultural Night, designed to engage participants across multiple formats:

Plenary Sessions: These sessions will feature keynote addresses by renowned experts and policymakers, providing high-level insights and setting the stage for the conference themes.

Panel Discussions: Panel discussions offer a platform for in-depth exploration of the conference themes, encouraging dialogue, debate, and the sharing of diverse perspectives among participants.

Workshops: Interactive workshops will focus on practical skills-building and capacity development, equipping participants with actionable tools and strategies relevant to gender equality and related fields.

Paper, Report, and Poster Presentations: These sessions provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to showcase their work aligned with the conference sub-themes, facilitating knowledge exchange and networking within the academic and professional community.

Awards and Cultural Night: The conference will culminate in a special evening of recognition, celebration, and exhibition, featuring:

  • Awards Ceremony: Recognizing outstanding contributions in research, advocacy, and practice, including exemplary papers, reports, posters, and initiatives.
  • Cultural Performances and Exhibition: Showcasing vibrant local and international cultural performances alongside an exhibition of art, products, and initiatives, offering participants a chance to celebrate diversity, creativity, and innovation while networking in a relaxed and festive environment.

Artivism and Storytelling: This session will highlight creative advocacy through art, performance, and narrative, enabling participants to engage with gender equality themes in innovative and expressive ways. It provides a platform for activists, artists, and storytellers to share their work and inspire action.
